We stayed in Rock Springs, Wyoming one night on our way toward the Salt Lake City area. Joel happened upon the Log Inn Restaurant. It is all “supper club” and we loved it! You could easily drop this place in northern Minnesota or Wisconsin and nobody would know any different.
The restaurant is right along I-80 just west of Rock Springs. The interior had moody dark walls with a knotty pine bar and rooms were blocked off as if it was still recovering from limited seating during the pandemic.
Steak and seafood are staples here, as is the homemade bread (which is AMAZING). And of course, what’s a supper club without a relish tray ahead of your meal.
While we did have to explain how to make a lemon drop martini and a Titos “press”, that was okay. The servers were fun, informative and now the have a few more cocktails in their arsenal.
Joel ordered the prime rib and I ordered the bacon-wrapped shrimp. Which were good! It’s on our list when we come back through town!
